Final response to the 25 Year Environment Plan progress report

This report, published in October 2020, sets out the NCC’s natural capital asset-based framework for assessing progress against the 25 Year Environment Plan. It shows how to apply this framework to independently scrutinise progress, laying the foundation for the OEP to undertake this role from 2021.This report also highlights the priority areas the government should focus on to reverse declines in our natural assets.
