The OEP appeared before the Committee for Agriculture, Rural Affairs and Environment (AERA) at Parliament Buildings in Belfast on 29 May (2025).
During the appearance committee members mentioned a report by Oxford University in the context of discussions about the relative importance of agricultural and wastewater sources of nutrient pollution.
At the time, we were not aware of the specific study and undertook to review the paper and report back to the committee chair, which we did on June 9 (2025.)
