The OEP Board has agreed a Governance Framework, which sets out how it will work to high standards of corporate governance and how it will make its decisions. It has also agreed a Delegation Policy which sets out who it has authorised to make which decisions within the OEP. The Delegation Policy was last updated in November 2024.
The OEP, Defra and DAERA have agreed a Framework Document which describes the governance and accountability framework that applies between the OEP and its sponsor departments in England and Northern Ireland and key aspects for how the day-to-day relationship works in practice. It has also been published by Defra, and can be found here.
